AURI receives $99,000 USDA grant

Minnesota's Agricultural Utilization Research Institute has been named recipient of a $99,000 award administered through the USDA Rural Development Business Enterprise Grant program, in order to provide technical assistance to small and emerging businesses in the biomass processing industry in Minnesota.
AURI, a non-profit organization that works to develop innovative uses for agricultural commodities, will distribute the funds throughout seven counties in the state for use as start-up capital loans, building and plant renovations, transportation improvements, project planning and other relevant business needs.
