Following a request for proposal by the Rockingham County won by Waga Energy, the two parties signed a contract to produce RNG at the waste storage site in the town of Madison, North Carolina.
Bioenergy Devco on May 16 announced that the Maryland Bioenergy Center in Jessup, Maryland, is operating at full capacity. The facility processes 120,000 tons of food waste annually into renewable natural gas (RNG) and nutrient-rich soil amendments.
Germany-based EnviTec Biogas has successfully completed two more biogas projects in the U.S. in Cassville, New York and Ellington, Connecticut. The two plants were planned, designed, and constructed by its subsidiary, EnviTec Biogas USA Inc.
