Boston Consulting Group on May 7 announced it has signed an agreement for the purchase of sustainable aviation fuel certificates (SAFc) with World Energy, the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) producer and low-carbon solutions provider.
Clean Fuels Alliance America announced an uptick in membership reflecting growing interest in low-carbon liquid fuels in addition to recent changes within its governing board.
Virgin Atlantic has shared results from Flight100, the first transatlantic flight on 100% SAF, which took place in November. The flight proved that SAF is safe to use with existing infrastructure and delivers CO2 reductions and other benefits.
PBF Energy Inc. on May 2 announced that its St. Bernard Renewables facility operated well during the first quarter of this year, producing an average of 18,000 barrels per day of renewable diesel during the quarter.
Gevo Inc. released Q1 results on May 2, reporting that the company’s RNG project operated at approximately 89% of capacity during the quarter and that efforts continue to secure a DOE loan guarantee for the company’s proposed SAF project.
