Green Energy Resources to utilize hurricane wood

New York-based Green Energy Resources is working with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency to acquire hurricane debris from southeast Texas, following the landfall of Hurricane Ike in September. The company will purchase waste wood with diameters of two inches or more collected by FEMA contractors, but not wood waste from other sources, such as damaged buildings. By taking the wood in log form, the company will be able to produce wood chips as clients need them.
