Helius Energy picks plant site
U.K.-based Helius Energy PLC recently signed an option-to-lease agreement for an 18-acre site located at Avonmouth Dock along Great Britain's Bristol Channel for a proposed 100-megawatt biomass power plant. The agreement followed RWE Innogy's acquisition of full development and operation rights to Helius Energy's 65-megawatt biomass power plant to be built in North East Lincolnshire, U.K.
