Onsite Energy Management magazine has announced the Onsite Energy Conference & Expo dates for 2016. The event will take place April 11-13, 2016 at the Charlotte Convention Center, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Colocated with the International Biomass Conference & Expo, the Onsite Energy Conference & Expo will bring together commercial, institutional and industrial energy professionals who are evaluating or already managing onsite power and thermal energy technologies. This three-day event will offer industry-leading content and networking opportunities for those engaged in onsite energy asset installation, operations and maintenance.

Topics to be presented by industry experts:

- How utilities and independent power producers manage and deploy distributed energy
- How energy managers spearhead their organizations’ onsite energy projects
- Discover how and why companies, campuses and municipalities are developing microgrids
- New ideas about connecting, harmonizing and protecting hybrid energy assets
- Creative financing solutions and funding strategies that make onsite energy more attractive
- How commercial and institutional energy managers rely on, and benefit from, third-party O&M

“Sessions during the Onsite Energy Conference & Expo will help facility managers and physical plant managers better understand the latest technologies and best practices being developed today,” says Tom Bryan, Onsite Energy Management editor and president at BBI International. “In addition, attendees will hear from experts who have successfully developed and executed commercial and institutional onsite energy projects.”

Attendees of the event will include energy managers, facility managers, physical plant administrators, consulting-specifying engineers, sustainability practitioners, building and business owners, power generation equipment manufacturers, distributors and others.

Organized by BBI International and produced by Onsite Energy Management magazine, this new event is being held in conjunction with the largest biomass industry gathering in the world. The International Biomass Conference & Expo is expected to draw more than 1,300 attendees and 220 exhibitors within a 200,000-square-foot expo. Attendees of the Onsite Energy Conference & Expo will gain access to the International Biomass Conference & Expo tradeshow and sessions. The two events will share an expo and a general session, as well as refreshment breaks and receptions. Access to both conferences is granted with a single registration
